16 Days of Activism to #UniteandChange the face of violence against women.

Recognising that state-wide change is needed in the culture, behaviours and attitudes that lead to violence against women and children, the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) engaged my team to help deliver the inaugural Victoria Against Violence (VAV) initiative, a 16 day community-based government- supported education and awareness initiative about family violence.

We developed a communications plan including stakeholder engagement, social media strategy and content, PR and media relations, and the logistics and facilitation of five separate events that took place over the 16 days.

Crucial to success was the development of a comprehensive stakeholder toolkit that included campaign key messaging, social media content, new release template, e-newsletter template, email template and communications collateral such as posters and postcards.
