On May 11th and May 12th, 2023, I facilitated a staff retreat with the 20 members of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association’s (TOTA) organization. With a refreshed strategic plan and operations plan, Melissa conducted the retreat following a detailed retreat agenda to explore how staff members view their roles as individuals, how they see each other communicating as a team, and perspectives and ideas on moving forward together.
Before the retreat, I conducted pre-meeting conversations with the ED to better understand the outcomes desired from the retreat. I then designed a meeting unpacking the different layers comprising TOTA by examining internal layers of the organization and moving into TOTA’s strategic plan. Following the retreat, I provided a comprehensive summary memo recapping the conversation and noting some recommended next steps. |
