Victorian Gender Equality Strategy Consultation and Launch

The Victorian Government’s Office of Prevention and Women's Equality required  strategic advice and event management for stakeholder consultation for the  first-ever Victorian Gender Equality Strategy.

We helped to develop a consultation approach to engage including a state-wide roadshow, cohort-specific consultation events and consultations with key corporate and industry leaders. Interactive technology was used as well as an illustrator to capture stakeholder ideas.

Once the Strategy was ready, we developed a launch plan, including a ministerial event for 400 stakeholders at the Arts Centre. Guests heard from advocates about the link between family violence and gender inequality, and shared their commitment to the Strategy through hundreds of speech bubbles on a “Wall of Voices for Gender Equality”.
